Most hands free car kits are designed with European-standard ISO plugs, designed to plug into the existing wiring behind the stereo and connect to power and provide audio to your car speakers. Unfortunately, many car manufacturers insist on using their own proprietary connections, meaning an adaptor harness has to be used to convert these plugs into the standard ISO.
